The VersamowTM mulching system allows you to collect clippings, or mulch some or all of them and our unique MicroCut twin blade system has 4 cutting surfaces, creating smaller clippings. Combined with the 88 litre bag, this means you can mow 50% further than previous models before emptying.

Honda GCV Series OHC/OHV Engine
Honda HRX walk-behind mowers are powered by Honda's premium residential GCV Series overhead cam/overhead valve engines. This easy-starting, reliable and quiet engine is certified to meet EPA and CARB emission levels. Another technological first from Honda, GCV Series engines boast the world's first internal timing belt and is perfectly matched, with power in reserve, for the demanding mowing conditions that you may encounter.
Handle Release
A quick release handle makes it easy to adjust height to 3 different positions for user comfort, as well as fold the handle over for more compact storage.
MicroCut™ Twin Blades
Honda's exclusive MicroCut™ twin blade system uses four cutting surfaces that result in ultra fine clippings for superior mulching and bagging. Tiny clippings decompose faster and fertilize your lawn. And because finer clippings take up less volume when bagging, you can now mow between 40 to 50% farther before having to empty the bag.
Versamow System™ Variable Mowing System
Honda's revolutionary Versamow System™ allows you to mulch, partially mulch, bag, discharge, shred leaves, or any combination. There are no tools or attachments to fiddle with, and it's the first lawnmower ever to simultaneously distribute clippings to both the bag and the ground. The convenient controls regulates how much is bagged or mulched. The advanced design of the Versamow System™ maximizes the flow of grass clippings as well as minimizes the clogging of the opening to the bag chute.
Exclusive Honda Auto Choke System
Honda's exclusive auto choke system eliminates the need for manually choking the engine when cold.
